Coaching is a collaborative approach focused on empowering you as a parent to effectively support your child’s growth. Through coaching, you’ll receive guidance on addressing everyday parenting challenges, implementing positive discipline strategies, and building a strong, supportive relationship with your child. While therapy works directly with your child to address personal struggles through goal setting, coaching gives you (parents) tools and insights to navigate parenting with confidence.   • Coaching focuses on education, skill-building, and practical tools to help parents support their child’s emotional growth at home. While therapy addresses deeper emotional and behavioral challenges, coaching is designed to empower parents with strategies they can use day-to-day. It is not a substitute for mental health treatment.

  • Coaching is ideal for parents who:

    • Want to feel more confident responding to their child’s big emotions

    • Need tools for common parenting challenges (e.g., listening, coping, social skills)

    • Are looking for support but their child may not need therapy

  • Therapy is a better fit when:

    • A child is experiencing persistent emotional distress, anxiety, or depression.

    • There are significant behavioral challenges impacting home, school or extra curricular activities.

    • A family needs support working through trauma, grief, or developmental concerns.
