IN THIS LESSON
Welcome to the Friendship Course for Kids!
Your child meets Katie and hears, right away, what the next few weeks will cover: what friendship actually is, how to talk to people and really listen, what to do when there's a conflict, and — critically — what to do when a friendship gets hard. This short welcome also walks through how the workbook and videos work together, including the reflection pages built for parent-child conversation and the Progress Map your child colors in as they move through each module.
Listen Anywhere, Anytime
Friendship trouble doesn't wait for a quiet moment at home — and neither should this course. Every lesson works just as well through headphones as it does on a screen, so your child can listen in the car, on the walk to school, or curled up before bed.
Some of the best conversations this course sparks happen exactly there — on the drive home after a hard day at recess, when a friend group left them out and "When a Friendship Isn't Working" is exactly the tool your child needs to reach for.
No need to sit down with the workbook every time. Just press play, and let the learning ride along.

Go at your own pace: this course is yours, enjoy it and refer back to it as often as you need! Take your time, practice the skills you are learning and ask your parents for help. You can watch and re-watch any modules and it's always here if you need a refresh!
It is suggested to: Watch the module, engage in the practice activities and use the reflection questions to prompt a meaningful conversation with your parents. The power and changes come from practice and implementing what you are learning. Take action, knowing that you will likely not get it right the first time. That's okay and totally normal! Try again, and again until your brain has learned the new skill.
Please leave feedback: I would love to hear your feedback as you progress through this audio course. Please leave comments within each module about your experience. What did you like? Was the lesson and activity helpful? I appreciate your feedback!
